“We are not bees that benefit blooming crops, and in pursuit of a good shot, we can harm the plants,” propagandists warn.
It seems that publishing photos in rapeseed fields, which bloggers wait a year for, is becoming dangerous.
“Please, catch the sun among the golden flowers, take selfies, embrace the yellow sea, but only from the road or the roadside,” writes "Molodechno Newspaper".
There is no ban on such photoshoots, but you can get a fine, the publication adds.
Damage to rapeseed can be regarded as intentional destruction or damage to other people's property, the publication warns. Article 11.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for a fine of up to 30 basic units (1350 rubles).
“A costly photoshoot might result, right? Plus, there's a risk of being stung by bees, who also love rapeseed fields very much. And rapeseed pollen is very difficult to remove from clothes,” the publication explains.
