Journalists spotted a strange detail in the video of the Sarmat missile test
After Vladimir Putin's statement about the successful test of the Sarmat missile, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a video of the launch. However, observant viewers noticed an unexpected detail in the footage: behind the glass in the command center is a folded flag of a military institute that was disbanded back in 2011, writes "Agentstvo".

This flag is located to the right of the so-called "Combat Post No. 2". It shows characteristic elements — four orange rays with golden emblems and black framing. Based on these signs, experts and journalists determined that this is the symbolism of the Military Institute for Advanced Training of Mobilization Body Specialists (VIPKSMO), which was liquidated more than ten years ago and was located in Saratov.
Journalist Dmitry Sukharev was the first to draw attention to this discrepancy.
In addition, the material mentions a person present at "Combat Post No. 1" during the launch. This is 36-year-old serviceman of the Strategic Missile Forces, Andrei Kazub. According to data leak analysis, he is registered in the closed military town of Yasny in the Orenburg region, where one of the Russian Federation's missile divisions is located. It is also known that he received income from the Ministry of Defense, including as a group commander.
On May 12, the head of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces, Sergei Karakaev, reported to Putin about the allegedly successful tests of "Sarmat" and promised that the missile would enter combat duty by the end of the year. However, this is not the first such promise: earlier, authorities had already reported several times about the rapid commissioning of the missile, although the deadlines were constantly postponed.
