A new workshop for the production of mozzarella cheese has been opened at the local branch of the "Molochny Mir" (Dairy World) enterprise in Shchuchyn, reports BelTA.

The new project was implemented from 2024 to 2026. Modern Italian equipment was purchased for production and placed in the reconstructed premises of the old salting department. Thanks to this, the enterprise was able to increase milk processing by an additional 100 tons per day, expand its product range, and create 18 new jobs.
The plant will now produce mozzarella in balls and special cheese for pizza in blocks. It is planned that about 70% of production will be "mozzarella-pizza," and the remaining 30% — classic mozzarella.

The Shchuchyn branch of "Molochny Mir" can currently process up to 520 tons of milk per day. The enterprise produces cheeses, butter, whole milk products, and dry dairy products. About 570 people work here.
Next, the enterprise plans a project for the construction of a new whey processing workshop and the modernization of wastewater treatment plants.
