It states that on May 19, a hearing on a civil case will take place in the city's Leninski District Court, based on a claim from the Compulsory Enforcement Department, to grant permission to inspect Jezhy Hryhiencha's residential premises without the owner's consent. The goal is to appraise the apartment and later put it up for sale, reports "Hrodna Human Rights Defense".
In November 2024, Hryhiencha was sentenced in absentia to 6 years in a penal colony, and also fined 1000 base units (40,000 rubles).
A little later, the authorities added Hryhiencha to the "list of extremists" and the "list of terrorists". In May 2025, the family car of the socio-political activist, confiscated by the authorities as a result of political persecution, was sold at auction.
