A cat department for rodent control has appeared in a Chinese airport
A stray cat and a tomcat have settled near the passenger terminal at Lanzhou Airport.

The airport management thought for a long time about what to do with the fluffy guests, as they didn't want to simply chase them away. Soon, an original solution was found — the tailed creatures were officially hired to work at Lanzhou city airport.
Now there is someone to take care of rodent control. Employees noted that there are significantly fewer mice and rats.
In gratitude to the four-legged "employees", it was decided to create an entire department for them, provide constant care, and allocate their own room.
