The play «Puss in Boots» by the Belarusian State Puppet Theatre, for which tickets are unavailable, will be shown for free. It will be performed in Rakawski Dvorik (Minsk, Rakawskaya St., 25) on July 25. Start time – 3:00 PM.
«We are closing the theatre season! And following our annual tradition, at the end of the season, we invite you to Rakawski Dvorik for a special showing of the play «Puss in Boots». The special magic of this day will be in the cast. Legends and audience favorites will take the stage: Honored Artist of the BSSR Vladimir Hramovich, Valery Zyalenski, Bahdan Kartashou, Aliaksei Syanchyla, and Safiya Burdo,» — the theatre writes on social media.
«We didn't accidentally choose «Puss in Boots» for the showing in Rakawski Dvorik. Firstly, it's one of the «veterans» of our repertoire: this year, the play turned 27 years old.
It was staged by Honored Artist of the BSSR Vladimir Petrovich Hramovich, who, by the way, will also take the stage that day. Secondly, «Puss in Boots» is perfectly suited for an outdoor performance: it contains many elements of actor improvisation and humor that our audience loves. We are glad that a good tradition has been established — to meet theatre fans in an unusual atmosphere, in the cozy Rakawski Dvorik. For us, this is not just an outdoor event. Every time we get immense pleasure from meeting, communicating, and the emotions of our audience, — the Puppet Theatre told Onliner.
On the evening of the same day, the Belarusian State Puppet Theatre will close its 88th season within its own walls with the play «On a Black, Black Street».
