Kim Jong Un's Sister Vows to Prevent Japan's Military Evolution
Kim Yo Jong stated that Japan is accelerating its transformation into a "military state" and is moving towards the practical implementation of a pre-emptive strike strategy, the North Korean News Agency writes .
As examples, she cited recent Tomahawk cruise missile tests, the participation of Japanese self-defense forces in joint exercises with the United States in the Philippines, as well as the deployment of new missile systems.
"Japan must be made to repent for its actions. We will under no circumstances allow Japan's military evolution, which could pose a serious threat to the security of the DPRK. By mandate, I declare that the armed forces and military leadership of the DPRK will make a clear additional military choice in connection with today's changes in Japan," Kim Yo Jong reported.
The younger sister of the DPRK leader stated that it has now become even clearer that Japan's behavior, which until now, by calling the measures of neighboring countries to strengthen their defense capabilities "threats" and "provocations", presented itself as a "peaceful state" on the international arena, was merely a ploy to conceal its ambition to transform its country into a military state.
According to her, the US stands behind Japan.
"It was the US that supplied Japan with long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, re-equipped a ship for their deployment, and created all conditions and circumstances for the test launch, including determining the launch site – this is no secret. The US threatens Russia's strategic space and violates peace and security in the Middle East with the help of NATO in Europe, and also seriously violates the security interests of anti-imperialist and independent countries in the Asia-Pacific region, using its supporters, including Japan and the Republic of Korea, as a strike force," Kim Yo Jong stated.
Kim Yo Jong is Kim Jong Un's younger sister, 38 years old. She is currently the director of the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. From 2015 to 2021, she served as the first deputy director of this department.
It was also previously reported that she could become Kim Jong Un's successor, as could Kim III's 15-year-old daughter, Kim Ju Ae.
