Four Belarusians injured in a road accident in Georgia have already been discharged from hospitals
According to information from the Ambassador of Belarus to Georgia, Mikalai Ragashchuk, as of the evening of August 14, four injured individuals have already left inpatient care. One person was discharged from the Republican Clinic in Batumi, and three more from the hospital in Chokhatauri, Belta reported .
The remaining injured continue to be under medical supervision. There are no seriously injured among them, and the patients' condition is assessed as stable. However, Georgian doctors recommend staying in hospitals for a few more days to monitor the dynamics of their condition. All injured are receiving necessary medical care, including CT scans and X-ray examinations.
In parallel, Belarusian authorities are working on the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased. With the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the repatriation of the first two victims — young people aged 20-21 — is planned for the next two to three days. Two more bodies are planned to be delivered to Belarus early next week.
The Belarusian ambassador expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
A road accident involving a minibus carrying Belarusian citizens occurred on August 12 in the Guria region of Georgia.
There were 19 Belarusian citizens in the minibus. Four people died, and 15 sustained injuries of varying severity. Among the injured are six minors.
