Man released from prison and immediately robbed a cemetery near Minsk
In Minsk district, the police solved the theft of a metal fence from the "Ksaveryouskiya" cemetery. The incident occurred back in March. The culprit dismantled several sections of the fence and fled the crime scene, writes pristalica.by.

Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Machulishchansky police station of the Minsk District Department of Internal Affairs identified the suspect. He is a 53-year-old unemployed resident of the village of Kuliki, Cherven district, who previously had problems with the law on multiple occasions.
The man explained his actions by a difficult financial situation. In March 2026, he was released from places of detention and, according to him, decided to earn money for a living in this way.
He quickly handed over the stolen metal to the nearest secondary raw materials collection point, and spent the money received on personal needs. The losses incurred by the owner have not yet been compensated.
The collected verification materials have been transferred to the Minsk District Department of the Investigative Committee. They are to decide on the man's further responsibility.
