A court in St. Petersburg (Russia) found Belarusian Iryna Hlazunova guilty of petty hooliganism and sentenced her to administrative arrest for two days – for swearing in the stairwell of the building when she was left without clothes after a quarrel with her cohabitant.

The incident occurred on January 21, 2025, around 7:00 PM in one of the houses in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg. According to the case materials, Hlazunova's cohabitant closed the apartment door and did not let her back in. The woman was left on the first-floor landing in just a T-shirt – as she explained to the court, she had torn her pants while in the stairwell. Outraged, she began to express herself using obscene language.

Neighbor V. Stiapanava came out to the noise. Seeing Hlazunova without clothes, she made a remark, but Hlazunova did not react and, on the contrary, blocked the neighbor's way, not allowing her to pass.

At that moment, a police officer was passing through the yard, to whom Stiapanava turned for help. The Belarusian woman was detained and taken to the police station.

In court, the woman pleaded guilty and promised that this would not happen again. The court sentenced Hlazunova to two days of arrest, which she had already spent in custody before the hearing.
