Man with a hangover woke up in a ransacked apartment and went to the police
A resident of Minsk contacted the police after seeing his apartment in a complete mess in the morning. Cereal was scattered in the kitchen, food was missing from the refrigerator, and the bathroom and children's rooms were in total disarray. In addition, belongings and money were gone.

The man said that his wife and daughter had gone out of town for the weekend. He himself had consumed alcohol in the evening, but clearly remembered that everything was in order at home before he went to sleep.
Criminal investigation officers arrived at the scene. It soon became clear that some of the stolen items were right in the entranceway: cosmetics, clothes, and dishes belonging to the victim's family were lying on different floors.

Detectives established that during the night, the owner's 46-year-old neighbor had entered the apartment. She had previously visited this family, so she knew the apartment's layout and where valuable items were kept.
The woman took advantage of the fact that the man had fallen asleep and hadn't locked the door. She simply pressed the doorknob, entered the apartment, and took 1200 rubles from the bedside table. In addition to the money, she took food, warm clothes, a pot, and household chemicals.
However, already in the entranceway, the thief heard footsteps and got scared. She dropped the stolen items on the stairs and hid the money. The woman didn't have time to spend it — she was soon detained.
A criminal case was initiated regarding the theft. Now the woman will have to compensate the victim family for the damage caused.
