Ministry of Trade took control of HC Dinamo's ticket policy

Before the start of the new season, which begins on September 7, Hockey Club "Dinamo-Minsk" appealed to the Ministry of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade with a request to approve the price of tickets and season tickets, writes the press service of the agency.

After reviewing the issue, the ministry gave the club a number of recommendations, including proposing to reduce the price of the ticket and season ticket program and to adhere to a more restrained pricing policy.

The agency noted that "Dinamo-Minsk" is considered a significant ideological project of Belarus, and attending KHL team matches is an important part of the country's public life.

At the same time, the Ministry of Trade recalled the situation of last season, when citizens submitted appeals regarding a significant increase in ticket prices for the club's home KHL playoff matches. Then the ministry also recommended that the club not raise prices. The recommendation was followed — ticket prices did not increase in the first round of the playoffs.

Now the ministry and the club have prepared a special agreement for signing. It stipulates that "Dinamo-Minsk" will refrain from unjustified price increases for tickets and season tickets during periods of particularly high demand.

In addition, the club will have to inform the Ministry of Trade in advance about its intention to increase the price of tickets or season tickets above a defined limit and provide economic justification for such an increase.
