Minsktrans explained why buses and trolleybuses are late and disappear from routes in Minsk
On social networks, passengers reported problems with several public transport routes.

One of the Minsk residents drew attention to the operation of bus No. 175C, as well as trolleybuses No. 29 and No. 61. According to her, the transport does not always arrive at the scheduled time, while passengers do not receive timely information about delays, writes 'Minskaya Prauda'.
Another resident of the capital complained about bus No. 130. She said that, according to her observations, the route might not arrive several times a week, both in the morning and in the evening.
The company explained that disruptions in the ground transport schedule during peak hours may be related to a difficult road situation.
In addition, operational problems directly on the line also cause delays.
Meanwhile, passengers can track the movement of transport using electronic displays at stops and the 'Virtual Display' service.
What does 'ЗТ' mean on the electronic display
Minsktrans explained that the system calculates the estimated arrival time of transport at the stop. If the movement on the route is disrupted, the software and hardware complex recalculates the waiting time after the transport passes previous stops.
However, the system cannot yet accurately determine how long a bus or trolleybus, for example, will be stuck in a traffic jam.
In such cases, the designation 'ЗТ' (transport delay) appears on the electronic display next to the route number.
Therefore, if a bus or trolleybus does not arrive at the scheduled time, passengers are advised to rely not only on the regular schedule but also on the data from the electronic display or the 'Virtual Display'.
