In the center of Minsk, an abandoned kindergarten from the 1950s is being sold for almost a million dollars
Near Asmalouka in Minsk, an old kindergarten on Kisyalyova Street has been empty for many years. In recent years, the building belonged to the 'Lade' company, but no restoration work was carried out. Now the two-story building is up for auction, writes Realt.by.

The building was erected in 1955 at 26 Kisyalyova Street, near the 'White Tower'. Nearby are the characteristic streets of Asmalouka, cafes, and pubs.

During Soviet times, the nurseries of the Minsk Radio Plant were located here. However, they closed in the late 1980s. The total area of the former children's institution is 1015 square meters.

The building, in the style of Soviet Neoclassicism, has two floors and a basement. The foundation is reinforced concrete, the exterior and interior walls, as well as partitions, are brick, the ceilings are wooden, and the roof is metal. The building has central water supply, heating, sewerage, and electricity. A video surveillance system is also installed. There is a separate garage nearby.
The previous owner planned to reconstruct the building as a healthcare and service facility, but the plan could not be realized.

Along with the building, the new owner will receive a land plot of 42 ares for lease. The lease agreement will be valid until 2048.
The initial price of the object is 3 million rubles — about 997 thousand dollars according to the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus. The auction is scheduled for November 9.
