Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian forces launched two missile strikes, which resulted in the destruction of two Russian Su-34 fighter jets, as well as damage to an Iskander missile system launcher.
According to Zelenskyy, he was recently briefed on the results of the operation. He thanked the Ukrainian military for the achieved result.
Earlier, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that they hit two Russian Su-34 aircraft at the Marynivka airfield in Russia's Volgograd region. The attack utilized the Neptune coastal missile system.
On October 25, cruise missiles also struck the "Energiya" plant in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region, Russia. The enterprise specializes in the production of batteries for Iskander and Kinzhal missile systems.
Earlier, the Defense Forces of Ukraine also reported the destruction of a repair base for Iskander-M missile systems in Russia's Kursk region.
