Second case of police brutality against the activist occurred this weekend.
An activist of European Belarus consortium Andrej Mouchan was taken to court at about 12:40 Minsk time. However, the court decided to postpone the hearings on the case as witness police officers who detained the activist did not appear in the court. The trial is to continue on July 24.
Andrej managed to report he was severely beaten in head and kidneys and he felt bad.
Andrej Mouchan was arrested on Friday’s night, July 13, allegedly for putting a sticker ‘No to death penalty’ under a bridge in Minsk. He was accused of petty hooliganism for his deed, RFE/RL reports.
As it was reported previously, Andrej Mouchan held an action of solidarity with Siarhiej Kavalienka and walked with the white-Red-White flag in Minsk. Soon after his departure, he was brutally beaten by police officers on May 19.
