Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies (BISS) declares competition for the position of administrative (executive) director.
The qualifying candidate will perform the following duties, under the direction of the Director of the institution and supervision by the board and shareholders:
Organization of the work of the full-time and part-time personnel of the institute (coordinators, project managers, accountant, fellows, interns, etc) in performance of administrative duties;
Selection of administrative personnel for consideration of the Board of the Institute;
Organization of Institute’s paperwork and financial documentation, preparation of grant applications;
Organization of Institute’s events (press conferences, seminars, roundtables, etc.); control of the web site management;
Maintenance of contacts with partner organizations and stakeholders;
Organization of other activities in accordance with goals and tasks of the Institute.
A successful candidate has to conform to the following requirements:
Higher education (preferably in the area of management, finance, or law);
Project management experience of no less than 2 years;
Fluency in English, Belarusian, and Russian;
Ability to work in a stressful environment;
Ability to provide letters of reference.
