The cult series "Stranger Things" is airing its finale. Viewers have crashed Netflix.
Netflix has premiered the final season of the famous series "Stranger Things". The first four episodes are already available on the streaming platform — critics and viewers are happy.

“Stranger Things” is both a detective drama and a series with elements of horror and fantasy. It takes place in the 1980s in the fictional American town of Hawkins. Near it is a laboratory where experiments with paranormal phenomena are conducted and a portal to a parallel universe - the Upside Down - is accidentally opened. That universe begins to affect the inhabitants of Hawkins, who know nothing about that laboratory.
The fifth and final season of the series is now being released. On November 26, Netflix showed the first four episodes, and on December 25, on Christmas, you can see three more episodes. The two-hour finale of the season and the entire series is expected on December 31.

The first four episodes of the season were enough to crash Netflix — and this is despite the fact that the service's bandwidth was specifically increased by 30% before the premiere. Viewers from India and the US rushed to complain on social networks about problems with the platform.
As for reviews, they are quite decent. Critics note that in the new season the project retains the rare ability to be attractive to viewers of different ages, remains original and no worse than previous seasons. And ordinary fans spare no good reviews for the project: for example, on the Rotten Tomatoes portal, the fifth season of "Stranger Things" has a solid 92% approval from viewers.

And this is not surprising, considering how much work and money has been invested in the fifth season. It took three years to make, and each of the eight episodes costs an insane 50-60 million dollars, that is, the budget for the entire season is 400-480 million dollars. Enough to shoot several high-budget blockbusters. One of the guest stars is Linda Hamilton, aka Sarah Connor from the first films of the "Terminator" franchise.

We will be able to fully appreciate what happened soon.
