On December 4, the renovated "Rosa Luxemburg" border outpost, located in the Yelsk district on the border with Ukraine, was solemnly opened in the area of the Mozyr border detachment.
Border guards of this unit began guarding the Belarusian section of the border with Ukraine in July 2014. Until April 2024, when the reconstruction started, they were stationed in a former school building adapted for the outpost.
It is reported that at the renovated "Rosa Luxemburg" outpost, all premises are equipped with furniture and household appliances, and the territory and border section are under constant control thanks to modern technical means.
More than 25 kilometers of the border with Ukraine are under the control of the outpost. Drones, radiation and observation devices, alarms, transport, including motorcycles, are used for service. Reliable digital radio communication has been established.
This year, the border guards of "Rosa Luxemburg" have detained 10 violators of the state border.
