An incident occurred on a Belavia Airlines flight from Minsk to Antalya involving a passenger who smoked in the aircraft lavatory during the flight, writes Smartpress.

According to the airline, the man ignored the crew's warnings, and a smoke detector was triggered in the cabin. It is also reported that he consumed alcohol and disturbed other passengers with his behavior.
The crew decided to call the police in advance. After landing in Antalya, local law enforcement officers met the plane and boarded it to investigate the situation. The entire process took about 10 minutes.
Belavia reminded that smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited on board and in the airport area. Alcohol is only allowed if offered by the crew.
The airline also previously reported that they maintain a list of passengers who systematically violate behavioral rules on flights.
