As can be seen from the data presented, beer dominates in many parts of the world, especially in Europe, America, and some regions of Africa. Beer is also the most common alcoholic beverage in Poland and Ukraine.
Spirits dominate in Eastern Europe and some regions of Asia. Residents of Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, and Latvia prefer strong alcoholic beverages.
Wine consumption dominates in regions with strong winemaking traditions. For example, Southern and Western Europe, as well as some regions of South America, stand out as global centers of winemaking.
