Employees of a Homiel enterprise complain that they haven't been paid since the beginning of the year
Employees of the private Homiel enterprise LLC "BiPiDZh Plastic" (BPG Plastic), which produces various small plastic products, have not received their salaries since the beginning of the year. As the publication "Flagstock" learned from acquaintances of the firm's employees, they contacted the authorities regarding this issue, but have not yet received any help.

"Initially, we worked at the firm 'Belpolimergaz,' then we were transferred to 'BiPiDZh Plastic' — employees believe that it's the same de facto manager. In January, salary debts started, and we were promised that everything would improve and be paid. As a result, there were no salaries for January, February, or March. In April, about 20 people quit, but even upon dismissal, no one was paid."
Then, according to the employees, the manager transferred the remaining employees to "Belpolimergaz," while "BiPiDZh Plastic" is officially not listed under his name. The transferred employees receive their salaries, but about 20 people who quit were left unpaid:
"We contacted the executive committee. The Department of Compulsory Enforcement and State Control are also aware of the situation. We called the hotline. But the manager wants to declare the company bankrupt and wash his hands of it. We don't know where to turn next."
Employees fear that they will be left with nothing, and that they won't even be able to collect their salaries through court.
Konstantin Karpau is listed as the head of "Belpolimergaz" in official sources — he was mentioned in 2025 in a report on an expanded meeting of the presidium of the Republican Committee of the Banking and Financial Trade Union. His firm was among the private companies visited by members of the presidium. At that time, they "concluded that caring for the working person is one of the priority principles on which the work" of LLC "Belpolimergaz" is built, among others:
"Safe working conditions, a decent level of wages — this is the main goal of the joint initiative of the management and the trade union aktiv. Employees are stably guaranteed a wide social package in accordance with the current Collective Agreement."
