Children's camp near Minsk bought for a million dollars, but returned after a couple of months

In October, information appeared that the former "Kirovets" camp near Minsk was sold at auction for almost a million dollars. Now it has become known that the buyer miscalculated their capabilities and refused the purchase. The atmospheric children's "sanatorium" on the Minsk Sea has again been put up for auction by "BUTB-Property",writesRealt.by.

The former "Kirovets" camp is located in the Minsk district, in a forest array near the village of Zialionaye, Zhdanovichy village council. The distance from the Minsk Ring Road is about 10 kilometers. To the beaches of the Minsk Sea - about 2 kilometers.

This children's camp was built back in the 1960s. Previously, the institution belonged to the Kirov Minsk Machine Tool Plant. During its operation, more than one generation of Minsk residents managed to relax here. The camp, with pioneers at the entrance, functioned until the early 2000s, and then gradually began to turn into a completely neglected place.

Now, on the territory of 6.5 hectares, there are more than a dozen diverse buildings. These are mainly former residential buildings (wooden houses), as well as various utility buildings (first-aid post, bathhouse, library) to varying degrees of preservation.

In recent years, the object with a dozen houses has changed hands multiple times. Thus, since 2010, the plot was owned by the company "Interfinbud", but due to inactivity, the camp was confiscated from it.

In 2025, "Kirovets" was put up for auction and successfully sold for a record sum of 2.9 million rubles (about 980 thousand dollars). As reported then by "BUTB-Property", a private company engaged in the production and sale of furniture became the new owner of the abandoned camp. But, unfortunately, a little later the buyer refused the purchase.

Now the empty camp with various buildings, with a total area of about 1200 square meters, is again put up for electronic auction. The initial price of the complex is 44.5 thousand rubles (about 15 thousand dollars).

The auction for the sale of the camp will take place on December 24.

Along with the building, the new owner will receive a plot of almost 7 hectares. It will be leased for 30 years.

The new owner is obliged to guarantee the safety and restricted access to the facility, maintain the proper sanitary and technical condition of the territory, carry out reconstruction or demolish old buildings, put the new facility into operation and use it for its intended purpose, as defined by the Minsk District Executive Committee.
