The cold snap, which will affect Belarus over the weekend under the influence of Arctic air, will be short-lived.
Next week, from December 15 to 21, the return of Atlantic air masses is expected, as a result of which the temperature background will rise again and remain above the climatic norm.
According to the forecast, a classic winter is still not to be expected. Thaw weather is likely to persist at least until the beginning of the third decade of December.
At night and in the morning, there remains a high probability of fog and black ice.
On Monday and Tuesday, precipitation in the form of rain with wet snow is expected, as well as ice on the roads. Night temperatures will range from sub-zero in the northeast to positive in the west, and daytime temperatures will warm up to plus 7 degrees.
No significant precipitation is expected in the middle of the week, but a slight frost will remain at night.
From Thursday until the end of the week, the influence of an anticyclone will prevail, with daytime temperatures reaching +4 to +6 degrees.
