In the case of Ukrainian "Black Nightingales", sentenced to terms from 10 to 13 years
In spring 2024, propagandists reported the detention of seven teenagers allegedly for "cooperation with Ukrainian special services".

The teenagers united in an "anarchist cell 'Black Nightingales' under the leadership of the National Liberation Army of Ukraine" to carry out sabotage in Belarus and Russia.
Among those detained are underage students from colleges and schools in various cities of Belarus. The authorities named 16-year-old Ukrainian citizen Maria Misiuk as the creator of the group.
Also among those detained are Trafim Barysau, Siarhei Zhyhalou, Dzmitry Zakharoshka, Anastasiya Klimenka, and Aliaksandra Pulinovich. All teenagers were accused of "act of terrorism" (Art. 289 of the Criminal Code). The film also showed 18-year-old Daniil Harasim, who was accused under several criminal articles, including "treason" (Art. 356 of the Criminal Code).
Human rights defenders learned details about one of the detainees — Aliaksandra Pulinovich. At the time of her detention, the 16-year-old girl was in her final year at a Minsk school. Aliaksandra loves animals, has two cats, and planned to enroll in veterinary medicine at an agricultural university after graduation. In the pre-trial detention center, the girl was placed in a punishment cell for several days. In captivity, she continued her studies and passed the centralized testing.
As a source for human rights defenders reported, after the release of the propaganda film, it was shown in other schools to intimidate students.
According to human rights defenders, Aliaksandra Pulinovich was sentenced to 10 years and 3 months, Maria Misiuk — 13 years, Dzmitry Zakharoshka — 10 years and 6 months, Trafim Barysau, Siarhei Zhyhalou — 12 years of imprisonment each. Daniil Harasim was sentenced to 10 years in a penal colony, as well as a fine of 600 basic units.
This November, Maria Misiuk was released during another wave of pardons for political prisoners.
