"3-4 lactations of offspring, 7000 liters of milk, multiplied by 3". Karayeu explained everything about calves to agricultural workers
Former Minister of Internal Affairs, police general, and now governor of Grodno region, Yury Karayeu, during a meeting with agricultural collectives of Iŭje District, explained how to care for calves, and also, using the example of a pregnant woman, clarified when a heifer will not produce healthy offspring.

Karayeu and Lukashenka's assistant Konstantin Burak held a meeting with the collectives of three agricultural enterprises of Iŭje District, writes "Pul 4".
"We arrive at the farm. We see the heifers. We ask: how old are they? They say - 18 months. We open the documents - they are 24 months old. And all this time they were kept as if in besieged Leningrad.

How can such a heifer become a dairy cow? No way. A woman who doesn't gain weight cannot carry a child to term. Similarly, a heifer won't be able to give healthy offspring and milk," Karayeu explained.
He also said that "the loss of a calf is a missed opportunity in the form of what it could have given: 3-4 lactations of offspring, 7000 liters of milk, multiplied by 3," the press service of the regional executive committee quotes him.
