The Pentagon press service reported that US Department of Defense forces boarded the vessel Aquila II in the Indian Ocean.

The Pentagon noted that the vessel was operating "contrary to the quarantine established by President Trump for sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean Sea."

"The ship disappeared, we followed it. The Department of Defense tracked and pursued this vessel from the Caribbean Sea to the Indian Ocean," the US Department of Defense noted, attaching a video of the vessel's detention.

The statement also noted that violators would run out of fuel before they could escape from the American Armed Forces. The Pentagon promises to continue depriving illegal participants in global trade and their intermediaries of the ability to operate contrary to American influence in global maritime space.
