The changes will take effect from February 16 for trains No. 704, No. 712/711, and No. 713/714. And starting from February 17, all these services will be operated by DP-6 series rolling stock.
Belarusian Railway warned that during the renewal period, ticket sales for these trains might be temporarily unavailable, so passengers are advised to monitor information on the official website and in the mobile application.
Tickets purchased before February 10, 2026, for the old trains will remain valid and will be honored for travel on the new DP-6 diesel trains.
The temporary replacement of modern Polish-made diesel trains with old locomotive-hauled rolling stock became known in early February. Belarusian Railway later reported that the reason for this was severe frosts, which those trains did not tolerate well.
