Lukashenka: By the end of this year, we must have our own ammunition for artillery systems
By the end of this year, Belarus must establish the production of domestic ammunition for artillery systems. Alexander Lukashenka stated this on February 10 at a meeting on equipping the Armed Forces and developing the military-industrial complex of Belarus.

“Next year, even by the end of this year, we must have our own ammunition. Common ammunition.
At one point, we faced the question of our own production of cartridges. We resolved this issue. Grenade launchers will have their place in any battle, especially for us, due to the natural conditions we have. Therefore, ammunition for grenade launchers must be our own. And it is important to understand that all ammunition can be well stored. And we can produce them in sufficient quantities and put them into storage,” Lukashenka's press service quotes him as saying.
Lukashenka warned about responsibility for deadlines: “How is production organized in connection with my instruction? And I want to warn everyone — God forbid you disrupt this event in terms of deadlines.”
