In Mogilev, a good-hearted thief stole money but called back to return documents and leave money for the return journey
The Mogilev police were contacted by a 40‑year‑old resident of a neighboring country: 300 dollars and documents were stolen from her bag, which was left unattended on the street.
Detectives found out that the property of another was taken by a 56‑year‑old Mogilev resident who is unemployed. He was returning home intoxicated. Passing by the belongings of others, he discreetly took them with him, the local police reported.
Having appropriated most of it, he left a few banknotes and called the owner's mobile phone, named in the documents, informing her about the find.
