Near Rechytsa, a Renault collided with a semi-truck: a mother and her 10-year-old son died

This morning, around half past eight, an accident occurred on the road between Svetlahorsk and Rechytsa. A 36-year-old woman in a "Renault Laguna" was unable to keep the car in her lane. The car was thrown into the oncoming lane, where a DAF truck was driving at that moment.

The impact was very strong. The female driver and her 10-year-old son died on the spot.

There was another passenger in the car, a 57-year-old woman — she survived but was seriously injured. She was taken to the Rechytsa hospital, where doctors are now helping her.
