The incident occurred at the Medininkai (Kamenny Log on the Belarusian side) checkpoint. On the morning of February 15, a 31-year-old Belarusian was removed from a bus traveling from Minsk to Kaunas. During the check, it was found that about a month ago, Danish police had issued an international warrant for him via Interpol.
Less than an hour after the detention, the man was handed over to police officers who arrived from Vilnius. He was taken to the capital's detention center.
