Forecaster Dmitry Ryabov reported on ONT that during the first week of calendar spring — from March 2 to 8 — warming up to +13 degrees is expected in Belarus. According to him, this will be due to the inflow of warm air from Western Europe.

The specialist noted that severe frosts are receding, replaced by spring thaws. From the beginning of March, Atlantic warmth will intensify, and snow will actively melt. However, no significant precipitation is forecasted due to high atmospheric pressure, and no sharp frosts or arctic surprises are expected. The weather will be typically spring-like — with fluctuations in temperature and pressure.
On Monday, March 2, rain and wet snow are expected, with possible fogs. Night temperatures will range from —3 in the east to +3 in the southwest, and daytime temperatures from +1 in Vitebsk region to +8 in Brest region.
On Tuesday, March 3, the weather will improve thanks to an anticyclone: precipitation will stop, but fogs will persist. Night temperatures will be from —3 to +1, and daytime temperatures from a slight minus in the northeast to +5 in the center and southwest.
No significant changes are expected in the middle of the week, but fogs might intensify. Night temperatures in the east could be up to —8, and in the west up to +2. During the day, the air will warm from 0 in the east of Mogilev region to +9 in Grodno and Brest regions.
On Thursday, March 5, the influence of moist air from southwestern Europe will be felt. Night temperatures will be from —2 to +3, and daytime temperatures from +3 in Mogilev region to +11 in Brest region.
By the end of the week, it will get even warmer thanks to an anticyclone from southern Europe. Most areas will be dry. Night temperatures will be around zero, and daytime temperatures from +4 in the northeast to +13 in the west of the country.
However, the weather will worsen again on the weekend: rain is expected on Saturday and Sunday, in places with wet snow and fog. Night temperatures will range from —5 in the east to +4 in the west, and daytime temperatures from +1…+3 in the north to +10…+11 in the south and west of Belarus.
