The Ministry of Education has set the deadlines for submitting documents, conducting entrance exams, and enrolling applicants in higher education institutions in 2026.
The main reception of documents for state-funded places starts on July 12. In most cases, it will last until July 17, however, separate deadlines have been set for a number of specializations and forms of study.
Thus, for full-time agricultural specializations, as well as for all specializations in law enforcement and military higher education institutions, including military faculties, documents will be accepted from July 12 to July 19. Part-time students of agricultural profiles submit documents much later — from November 15 to December 5.
For paid education, the deadlines generally coincide with those for state-funded places. However, for applicants entering without entrance exams, the document submission period is extended: in most higher education institutions — until August 1, and for full-time agricultural specializations — until August 2. At the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, documents from such applicants will be accepted until July 26.
Exams and other tests in most higher education institutions will take place from July 18 to July 25.
Exceptions again concern law enforcement and agricultural specializations:
- at the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations — July 18‑20;
- at the Military Faculty of Grodno State University — July 20‑21;
- for full-time agricultural specializations — July 20‑25;
- for part-time students of agricultural higher education institutions — December 6‑15.
The first enrollment orders will be issued as early as July 2 — for winners of university Olympiads and graduates of the "School of Management" program of the Academy of Public Administration.
Main enrollment for state-funded places will be completed:
- by July 22 — in military and higher education institutions under the Ministry of Emergency Situations;
- by July 29 — in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- by July 27 — in other higher education institutions;
- by December 20 — for part-time forms in agricultural universities.
Applicants for paid education will be enrolled until August 3, and part-time students of agricultural profiles — until December 20.
