A special emergency commission, headed by the chairman of the Babruysk city executive committee, visited the damaged bridge to decide the further fate of the structure. The overpass passes over railway tracks. It was previously reported about damage to one of the parts of the structure: a tilt of the pedestrian walkway was discovered, and later — deformation of the supporting beam of the pedestrian section. In this regard, traffic in this area was temporarily blocked, and transport routes were changed.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dismantled the emergency section. Local authorities took necessary measures to ensure the safety of residents.
