A rare albino roe deer was filmed in Lida district. The Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen reported the unusual encounter.

The animal with unusually light fur was spotted in the local forest. This is not a separate species of roe deer, but a result of albinism — a condition in which the body lacks the pigment melanin. Because of this, the fur and skin become very light.
Albinism occurs in both humans and animals, but is very rare.
According to eyewitnesses, a male roe deer was captured on video.
