The verdict for the odious BRSM functionary, who was tried for treason, has become known
In 2020, he helped the police patrol the streets to catch protesters. But he was tried for the war in Ukraine.
Former BRSM and Communist Party functionary Uladzimir Tsukhai was tried under two parts of the article «Treason» and «Coercion of a person to participate in criminal activity with the use of violence or destruction of property». The trial began on June 21, 2024. Only now has the verdict and the essence of the case become known.
According to the testimony of a former political prisoner, Tsukhai, for unknown reasons, decided to monitor military personnel with the aim of transmitting information to Ukraine. For this, he was given 17 years.

Tsukhai first gained prominence in 2008. At that time, he was the secretary of the Minsk Communist Party and a BRSM employee. In order to prevent relatives and associates of political prisoner Aliaksandr Barazenka from entering the court, he completely filled the hall with students from Minsk universities. In response to the political prisoner's mother's indignation, he pushed her so that she fell into her husband's arms. He faced no responsibility for this.
In 2013, Tsukhai was involved in another scandal. Zhodzina pedophile hunters claimed that they caught him using a decoy, corresponding on behalf of a 15-year-old boy who invited the BRSM functionary for a «hot night». During the meeting, Tsukhai allegedly had intimate lubricant and condoms on him. He himself denied this.
In 2020, the man helped the police patrol the streets. He complained to the ONT TV channel that he «could not go out with his family on Sunday». Therefore, he said, he and nine of his friends joined brigades to «monitor whether an unauthorized event was taking place somewhere».
Tsukhai was last online on VKontakte in July 2022.
