In 2025, Belarus became the main buyer of Russian tea. Of almost $100 million that Russian exporters received last year from selling tea abroad, $44 million came from supplies to Belarus.

According to data from the Russian portal "Agroexport", compared to 2024, the volume of tea exports from Russia to Belarus in monetary terms increased by 11%. Thus, the country confidently took first place among importers of Russian tea.
In second place is Kazakhstan with supplies worth over $17 million, and Azerbaijan took third place with a volume of about $7 million.
As for the structure of these supplies, black tea predominates — it accounts for 78% of total exports. Green tea makes up 16%. Another 3% is green tea with aromatic and flavor additives, and 2% is black tea of the same kind.
