Maxim Galkin joked at a concert in Vilnius that he first came to Lithuania 600 years ago
The show of Russian showman Maxim Galkin gathered a full house at Compensa.

Older people also came to the performance. Interestingly, most of the audience were Lithuanians, writes Delfi.lt.
Galkin performed Stasys Povilaitis' song "Shine on me again" (Švieski man vėl), after which he greeted the audience in Lithuanian.
Later, Galkin told the audience that he likes learning Lithuanian and Latvian languages.
“I first came to Lithuania when [Grand Duke] Vytautas watered his horses in the Black Sea,” he joked.
As is known, during the reign of Grand Duke Vytautas, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania expanded its borders to the maximum, and in the early 15th century, Vytautas reached the Black Sea, building several fortresses there.
Maxim Galkin will perform once more in Vilnius, with concerts also scheduled in Šiauliai, Klaipėda, and Kaunas.
Maxim Galkin and Alla Pugacheva left Russia after the start of the full-scale war and live in Israel and Latvia. Galkin consistently criticizes Putin and supports Ukraine.
