Kalegava's "Dapamoga" launched a new platform for fundraising — with zero commission. What are the first funds being collected for?
The "Dapamoga" organization, which has been helping Belarusians in Lithuania since autumn 2020, has announced a rebranding and the launch of its own digital platform. The organizers promise that 100% of donations will go directly to those for whom they were intended. Natallia Kalegava, head of "Dapamoga", explained the idea behind the project.

The official launch of the new service was timed for Freedom Day. "Dapamoga" will no longer accept funds into its own accounts or manage them in any way. All donations will go to the addressee, meaning zero commission from the organization itself.
Users can create fundraisers themselves, independently connecting their own payment instruments (for example, Stripe). At the same time, each campaign will undergo mandatory preliminary verification, and participants will be verified through the Dapamoga ID system.
"Dapamoga" head Natallia Kalegava explains this step as minimizing risks and combating speculation: "We know how important trust is. But it's one thing when we collect for the organization's needs, and another — to collect money for people. Now there are trust issues in our communities, so we decided to create a transparent platform where every euro is visible." For now, the new platform operates in pilot mode on a special page of the organization.
The first and main fundraiser now is a campaign to organize a wellness retreat for former Belarusian female political prisoners. The project starts on April 1 in the Canary Islands and will last a month. Former political prisoners will be offered therapeutic support, restorative practices, and simply a safe space for physical and psychological adaptation after prison.
As of March 30, concerned Belarusians have already raised 8,900 euros for these purposes, but the fundraising is still ongoing.
