A new modern border outpost complex "Mokrany" has been opened on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. This is the first facility of its type, commissioned in 2026 as part of the state investment program, the State Border Committee reported .

The outpost is located in the area of responsibility of the Brest Border Group. Its main feature is the use of modern technologies for border protection. The section is equipped with a fiber-optic alarm system "Voron" (Crow) with elements of artificial intelligence. This means that any suspicious movements or attempts to violate the border can be automatically detected and analyzed.

In addition, automated observation posts and thermal imagers are used, allowing for round-the-clock control — even at night or in poor visibility conditions. All this significantly increases the speed of detecting violations and responding to them.
Previously, the unit was located in Malaryta, approximately 15 kilometers from this territory. Now it is located directly on site, which allows for much quicker reaction to any changes in the border situation.
