A Minsk resident bought drugs but didn't manage to pick them up. But he still faces a prison term
The man, along with a friend, decided to try a psychotropic substance and for this purpose contacted the administrator of a shadow online store. After correspondence, they chose the substance and paid for the order.
The men headed to Padlesnaya Street to pick up the закладка (drop/cache). There, they were stopped by employees of the drug control unit, who asked to see the contents of their mobile phones.
In the accused's smartphone, operatives discovered the coordinates and a photograph of the location where the stash was hidden. Later, a roll containing 1.29 grams of alpha-PVP was retrieved from it.
A criminal case was initiated against the man under Part 1 of Art. 328 of the Criminal Code. The penalty for this is up to five years of imprisonment.
