The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a new attack on the Ust-Luga Oil terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in Russia's Leningrad region on the night of April 7. It is alleged that three tanks belonging to the Transneft-Baltika company were damaged.

This facility is an important part of the oil product export infrastructure, and the funds received from it, as noted, are used to finance military actions against Ukraine.
Earlier on April 7, Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ reported a new attack on the port of Ust-Luga after its partial resumption of operations had been announced.
Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed the UAV attack. He claimed that air defense "shot down" 22 drones in the region.
Prior to that, on April 5, during an attack on the port of Primorsk in the same Leningrad region, tanks were also damaged, leading to a fire. During the same period, damage was recorded at one of the oil refining facilities in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region.
The same ports were also attacked in previous days, after which fires and operational disruptions were observed in the region. Following these strikes, oil export volumes through Russia's Baltic ports decreased to their lowest values since the start of the war in 2022.
