Father gifted daughter 100 dollars, and police were called on her at the exchange office

In Pinsk, an ordinary visit to the bank for a 16-year-old girl turned into unpleasant consequences.

She came to exchange 100 dollars, the cashier noticed signs of counterfeiting and pressed the alarm. Police officers soon arrived at the branch.

According to the girl, the banknote was a birthday gift. The money was given to her by her 57-year-old father — according to him, he brought them from abroad.

Later, an expert examination confirmed the suspicions: the banknote indeed turned out to be counterfeit. A criminal case has been initiated. This concerns an article for the production, storage, or sale of counterfeit money.
