Budanov: I see progress in negotiations with Russia, and the process may not take long
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with Bloomberg agency noted that, despite the current lack of concrete results, the parties are supposedly gradually moving towards understanding and seeking a compromise.

According to Kyrylo Budanov, both Ukraine and Russia are beginning to better understand the limits of what is acceptable to them.
He also expressed the opinion that Russia, like Ukraine, is interested in ending the war, which is why the negotiation process continues with the mediation of the United States.
"They all understand that the war must end. That's why they are negotiating," Budanov said in an interview on April 4.
"I don't think it will take a long time," he added.
He emphasized the importance of the American side remaining involved in these negotiations.
At the same time, he refused to disclose possible terms of compromise, especially on territorial issues, calling them the most complex element of the negotiations.
According to his assessment, an important step is also the possible visit of U.S. representatives to Ukraine and further contacts between the parties. The possibility of a new prisoner exchange for the Easter period is also being discussed.
