From January 1, all educational institutions in Belarus plan to introduce electronic diaries. This was announced by Ruslan Abramchyk, head of the main education department of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, writes Smartpress.
According to the official, the system has already been prepared organizationally and technically for a full transition. Currently, electronic diaries are being used in experimental mode in approximately 300 schools. This is necessary to test the platform's operation under daily load, configure backup, and ensure its reliability.
What will happen to paper diaries has not yet been finally decided. After the electronic system becomes fully operational, the Ministry of Education will determine whether paper should be abandoned.
Abramchyk also noted that the school administration can distribute the duties of maintaining electronic diaries among teachers, providing appropriate payment, a bonus, or an allowance for this.
Regarding the use of gadgets in lessons, it is not prohibited. With the teacher's agreement, students can use tablets with electronic textbooks or smartphones.
