According to reports from American journalists, CIA Director John Ratcliffe has arrived in Russia. His visit was reported by CBS correspondent Jennifer Jacobs and Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing their sources.
On the morning of August 25, a US Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft with tail number RCH4555 landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport.
According to Flightradar24 data, the aircraft had previously flown to Riga on August 23. Its initial point of origin was listed as Camp Springs, Maryland, where Andrews Air Force Base is located.
This is where Air Force One — the plane of the US President — is based.
However, there is no official confirmation of the purpose of Ratcliffe's visit to Russia in the report. It is also not reported with whom exactly he might be holding talks in Moscow.
