The man came to visit an acquaintance, where they were drinking alcohol together. At some point, he noticed a 'Belarus' tractor in the neighboring yard, whose cabin was unlocked, and the key was still in the ignition.
Taking advantage of the situation, he got into the tractor, started it, and drove off. However, the ride was short — after a short time, the machine got stuck in a swamp. After that, the man simply returned to his acquaintance and continued the feast.
Soon, he was detained by police officers. A criminal case for theft was initiated against the man, and the tractor was returned to the enterprise.
Meanwhile, the police noted that the situation was facilitated by the carelessness of the mechanic: he left the vehicle unlocked with the key in the ignition and didn't even notice it had been stolen.
