«Nothing will happen to me for this anyway». In Russia, «SMO» participant stabbed ex-girlfriend and doused her with acid
In St. Petersburg, a 27-year-old participant of the so-called «SMO» attacked his ex-girlfriend and doused her with acid because she refused to get back together with him. Prior to this, he had stalked and threatened her for a year. Police appeals did not help.

In St. Petersburg, local resident Sergey Mikhailov, who recently returned from the war against Ukraine, was detained for attempted murder. The man is accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend, whom he had stalked and intimidated for a year after their breakup. The girl had repeatedly reported him to the police, but law enforcement officers did not react.
The attack occurred in the stairwell of a house on Zheleznaya Street as the girl was leaving her apartment for work. The man, who had previously verified her current address using a flower delivery service, ambushed her and broke into the apartment. He was armed with a knife, a signal pistol, pepper spray, and a container of concentrated acid.
During the attack, the man openly declared his impunity. He shouted at the girl: «Nothing will happen to me for this anyway, I'll go back to the SMO.»
Mikhailov inflicted at least five knife wounds on the girl, shot her in the knee with a signal weapon, and poured acid on her head. At that moment, a friend of the victim was in the room. She tried to protect Nastassia but could not stop the aggressor. According to the eyewitness, the man accused the girl of betrayal.
«He justified his actions by saying that Nastassia had allegedly betrayed him. We both asked him to stop and said it wasn't true,» the friend recounted.
After this, the perpetrator fled but was later apprehended. The girl is in intensive care with severe chemical burns to her face, head, neck, and chest.
In Smolensk, a Russian citizen was convicted for threatening in 2020 to insert a stick into a special forces officer from military unit 3214, who participated in the dispersal of protests
