"My team and I helped secure the release of three Polish citizens and two Moldovan citizens. This historic outcome was made possible thanks to the leadership of President Donald Trump, Chris Smith and his team at the State Department, and close coordination with several trusted partners.
We are grateful to Poland, Moldova, and Romania for their invaluable support in these efforts, and also to President Alexander Lukashenka for his willingness to engage constructively with the United States," he wrote on X.
John Cole also stated that he plans to visit Belarus again in 2-3 weeks.
All previous visits concluded with the release of political prisoners.
